Instructions & Safety
How to best enjoy your candle

The first time you light your candle, let it burn for up to 4 hours. This allows the molten wax to reach the edges. If it does not reach this ‘full melt pool’ in 4 hours do extinguish it

Try not to burn the candle for periods of less than 3 hours at a time as this can result in ‘tunnelling’. (That annoying thing when you get a hole down the middle of the candle and lots of wax left at the sides!)

Before lighting the candle each time, carefully trim the wick to 5mm – this promotes an even burn, reduces sooting on the vessel and 'mushrooming' of the wick. Leaving the wick to get too long can cause it to ‘droop’ and the flame to dim
