Island is the answer to that feeling at the end of a week that’s gone on too long — not a fragrance so much as a change of scene.

Light it and the room shifts. The first wave is ginger lily — lush, tropical, unmistakably floral, the kind of scent that exists somewhere between a warm breeze and a garden you’ve never actually visited.

Ylang ylang deepens the picture. Rich, heady, faintly honeyed — it’s one of the great exotic florals, and here it gives Island its warmth and its character. A sweet orange essential oil cuts through with brightness, keeping everything feeling alive.

And then patchouli, just enough of it, adding an earthy, resinous depth that lingers long after the candle has done its work. It’s the note you catch hours later and wonder where it came from.

Only ethically sourced ingredients are used in our essential oil scented candles

Our ethical wax is made from pure coconut and rapeseed and is a completely natural plant wax. Once lit, this natural wax will pucker and have an uneven surface, this does not detract from your candles performance and is a natural feature of plant wax.

Our non-toxic, all natural candles are housed in fine bone china, which is proudly made in England and we use cotton and linen wicks for a cleaner burn. This has a beautiful, translucent appearance which reveals the glow of the flame. And they come with a coaster/dust cover so you can cover your candle after use. They are also a reusable vessel and would love to stay with you!
